It's still more blatant anti-randomisation than I'd like, but it seems to serve the purpose. I don't know how strong it is normally, if it's used to shunt spells around if the opponent "counters" them by playing giant growth or a hexproof spell. But it can also be used to give yourself a second roll of the dice with "random target" enchantments.
An example: Uplands Dragon
It can't be targetted by spells, so damage spells and kill spells are safe to randomise around it. And if it ends up on your opponents side of the table, then most likely it just dissolves before it can hit you.
Other mad cards: Confusion in the Ranks, Warp World, Custody Battle, Chaos Warp... there are certain recurring themes in the names :)
Hee. Yes, yes it would :D
a block of Tranformers DFCs would be cool.
Added Grimlock, Leader of the Dinobots.
Challenge # 103 didn't nearly have enough Dinosaurs, so I decided to add one more. Except, I couldn't help but pay tribute to the upcoming Transformer IV movie. Who knows why. Probably because robot dinosaurs are awesome, no matter who directs them.
This card presented problems, though. It turns out that Grimlock's biggest feature is that he's strong. And a bit thick, and has a tendency to fight the Autobots when there's no real threat present. Oh, and he has a giant canon in his mouth that shoots fire. I think I pretty much got everything... though, I couldn't really add anything truly original.
The can't be equipped thingy, by the way, is because of his vestigial arms. It works double-duty, too... Grimlock weilds some sort of super-sword, so it's nice to see him have to drop it when he transforms.
It should probably have been Turris(s?)aur Caelum. I have no Latin knowledge and tried a quick Google translate.
/ Get Eaten / By Cats.
Ah, let's be true to source here, especially since it actually includes the word "Schemes".
"The best laid schemes o' mice an' men / Gang aft agley"
Xixianykus Zhangi
For Challenge # 103 and hooray for tiny dinosaurs! Xixiankus is a tiny road runner that dug up termite nests, then scooted out of the way when big predators appeared. I wanted him to be run around unhampered, so I gave him one-half gustcloak. Since I didn't want him dealing damage, I oddly ended up with a dodgy Merchant Ship.
Weird. I looked up "Turrimsaur" on Google and got a big fat Goose Egg (I assume this page hasn't been cached yet.) Was this a mispelling, Sorrow? I noticed 'Caelo' is the Latin word for 'Carve', so it looks like you're aiming for a real dino...
Diplodocus Hatchling
Turrimsaur Caelo
Also, wizards should totally get with the times and give dinosaurs either their own unique creature type or "bird lizard" as the creature type.
