Very nice flavor and justification for a non-flying sphinx.
Interesting! I'm glad to see someone doing an uncommon cycle.
I feel like this should an "if that player does" rider.

There are several things I think could be better about this, but maybe I'll come back to it later.
Added # to title

I started the challenge, but got busy with a few other things. I'll be back to link to my entries and make my last card later.
Edit: I made Riddler in the Clouds, Riddler in the Woods, Riddler in the Dark, and Riddler in the Flames.
Edit again: Oops, five sphinxes. I'll have to come up with one more: Riddler of the Spheres.

Inspired by the recent cycle of dragons, including a flying green dragon as promised about once every 10 years, (see http://magic.wizards.com/en/articles/archive/making-magic/whims-fate-reforged-part-2-2015-01-05 ), lets try another iconic cycle.
Design a cycle of sphinxes, like the occasional cycle of dragons. That means that the cards have to feel like sphinxes and have to feel appropriate for their colours, but minor creative deviations are allowed, specifically green flying :) By default, one in each monocolour, but other variations are possible.
FTR, most sphinxes have been U, followed by UW, and UWB.
Oh my gosh! A challenge for my favorite creature type!
Hm? No, this says "on your turn". I guess SM might argue that the opponent doesn't get any declare blockers step on your turn... I think it's clear what the intent is. Perhaps something like "Whenever your opponents declare blockers for the first time during combat on your turn, there is another..."
This only allows the opponent to declare their attackers in two waves, which is goofy because if there's any information benefit for you to gain at all, they can blank the first set of steps and declare everything in the second set.
The only times when this appears to be relevant are if the opponent has multiple Lure creatures, attacking with both at the same time allows you to split their blockers freely between them. But if they swing with one in each step, the first one must draw all the fire and the second one goes unblocked.
Oh, and "attacks and isn't blocked" triggers will happen twice. The only one of those they've done relatively recently is Master of Cruelties, which is redundant to do a second time, but Guiltfeeder and Stinkdrinker Bandit can really pile it on if there are double declare blockers steps.
Weird. And cool.
Not sure how much you stand to gain by declaring your attackers in two waves, but it's a decent ability on a better-than-Durkwood Boars.

I liked jmgariepy's concept of the Perfected as DFCs.
That's pretty confusing, but it's also a very neat idea.
Added Wave Threader.
