For Challenge # 137. Just your usual Fireball spitting island.
Combos with Dawn's Reflection for infinite mana. That may be acceptable?
OK, still trying to take this to another level, trying Caw Corps // Core Kor
See Challenge # 136.
A regenerating creature land would be pretty powerful, though like I said that wish came from the troll creature type. I guess deathtouch fits fine since it's bg's shared evergreen.
I actually considered that, but I think it would be a bit too powerful compared to the rest of the land cycle. What about trading the deathtouch in for that?
As a troll I really wish this land had some way to regenerate as a creature.
fixed obvious error :/
oops, fixing it now.
Did you forget to add a mana ability, Jebediah?
Why is this even a land?
See Challenge # 137. The idea behind this land is that it's big, but takes considerable effort to animate. I'll probably make a cycle.
See Challenge # 137.
See Challenge # 137. Inspired by Solid Thunderheads and Mercenary's Guildhouse.
Very nice. Probably makes a bit more sense in these colors, at least without the size-changing.
I like it. Given that it enters tapped, I feel like the self-bounce should cost less.
See Challenge # 137.
I don't think you'd usually see this asymmetry, but I was looking for variants on "become a creature". Here's two abilities that can be useful on their own, but would usually be more useful together.
The two existing lands suggest a most likely cycle of rare lands will turn into really quite simple creatures, quite possibly just mid-size creatures with the newest set of acceptable enemy-colour shared keywords (GU hexproof, WB lifelink, BG deathtouch, WR first strike and now RU prowess [?]).
But I like designing fancier lands. Here are some somewhere between:
Sulphurslick Pools
Shedding Marsh
ETA: Solid Thunderheads
See Challenge # 137. Doesn't quite fit the existing cycle as there's an extra cost rather than an ability.
See Challenge # 137. A simpler version of link's Mirrormere.
forgot to include "etbs tapped"
