created and commented on the card Avian Flu
I couldn't really thing of a creature drawback for green, but I remembered green can only kill creatures with flying, but black loves to kill creatures in general. I came up with this. Perhaps Avian FLu may be a touchy name, but it's general and gets the idea across. I specifically thought of the West Nile virus actually. In my neighborhood the West Nile virus turned crows from one of the most commonly seen birds into a scarcity. It's been over ten years and now you may see maybe a few a year, not like the countless numbers there were before West Nile hit. The flavor text is a reference to what happened.

created and commented on the card Mindfight
So this is my red "fight" for the set. Since I'm practically out of space in my mono-red for the set I decided to go UR over RW. I pondered how to include blue with fight, and then I thought of a fight of minds, one where damage was dealt off of handsize rather than power. Butt-fight inspired me to try this route.
I found black to be the hardest color to create a drawback for at this CMC. I really wanted to use "can't block." For that I needed a creature, and something relevant to make it want to block. I figured an ETB would be a good choice since it renders the creature a virtual vanilla after its entrance. Originally I was going to pick fight, but I already had 3 cards with fight in the set. I do need a red fight though.
I wasn't aware of Dusk Urchins but I'm not too surprised something like that existed. Working with -1/-1 counters is a lot harder than anticipated. I just created this card because I wanted something bomby as a mono-black rare that had an ability fitting with the block's mechanical themes.
Reminds me of Nettlevine Blight. Or, in fact, of Takklemaggot. The timing here is a little more fiddly, because the Aura will fall off before the death trigger resolves - you need to say something like "You may return ~ from your graveyard to the battlefield enchanting another creature with the same controller".

upped to 3 cmc since it's a 2/2 token.
That seems a little more efficient than I'd normally expect from common.

Niiice tweak on Raging Goblin. Just the kind of one-drop an aggressive deck would be happy to draw on turn 3-4.
