The only precedent for "destroy X target creatures" is Dregs of Sorrow, which comes with a lot more than 2 mana of overhead, even if the upside is bit better than just a token.
Perhaps up the cost to since I think the cost to destroy two target creatures? I didn't want it to be like Forced March or Black Sun Zenith and be a fieldwipe, so I had to stick with targeting creatures. I had to make this mythic though, so I added on the token. I was worried that at the card would be unplayable at that point, since you'r spending 4 mana to get destroy one creature and get a 1/1 (which doesn't seem that great).
At common level wouldn't it only be able to search out a basic land? I guess it should etb though.
By the way, this either needs the land to come out untapped or do something else to increase the power, I think. It looks pretty sad to me right now.
What do you do with the rest of them?
I suppose I could try and meet it somewhere near Dregs of Sorrow (I wasn't aware of this card.)
I have no intention of weakening the power of the removal as I feel it'd just chump out the card.

Um, I don't think you really need to worry about the case where someone spends
to destroy no creatures and make a 0/0...
I'd be a lot more worried about the

three-for-one. Or

four-for-one. Just owch. That sounds way, way too good.
I'd say make the removal more restricted. Some possibilities:
Messed-up on the name
no reason to have this as a sorcery

I should probably say X can't be zero.
Whoa. Perfect removal, with an upside?
And a board sweeper with a huge upside?
On the same card? Scary.
Because you'll be weeping at how bad this is when you open it in a draft. I mean well it's draw which is nice, but I'm not picking this turn one.
