Added to skeleton (CW11)
Added to skeleton (CW02)
This is way more efficiently-costed than would make it to print at Wizards, and as you've said, it should probably be uncommon.
Do we want to put a cap on this as well?
exists too.
Basically it just doesn't make sense to limit one of our mechanics to only two colors when adding even just one more opens up extra strategies and limited archetypes. and will get the most, but there's no reason not to give it to other colors too when it fits, and blue is a good choice for its love of artifacts.
I think whats bothering me is the flavor, maybe he should be snake man or something. Porcupine man should have something like Thorncaster Sliver.
Not to bring it up right now, but I"m thinking white/blue in this set would be centered on flying.
How is this consistent damage?
I say no to sorcery traps (unless we do end up with a second set) feels like we are trying to fix something that isn't broken.
We talked about some quest like evil schemes, I wonder if those would feel more at home than a cycle of these.
This is one of those things were I don't want to do just one. It's kind of an "all or nothing" scenario where I think we should either do a whole bunch of these or none, and I don't know if there's enough design space for a whole bunch.
If anything this feels like a "second set innovation".
I agree with a move to uncommon at least.
Cycle at common? The rattlesnaking is an interesting contrast to the more trick-like traps.
This could be the trap easily. I do like the flash twist though. Maybe a and a flash trigger at uncommon.
Small kaiju are alright, I think, but Monstrosity costs should be more extreme and OTT. Either way, I don't think Lizard is common. Anything which is consistent removal attached to a very efficient body is basically uncommon (see Flametongue Kavu).
It could be either, though the fact that green is much more likely to have mutants I think it can stay here for now.
This kind of bothers me. It either means we have "small Kaiju", which doesn't make sense, or we have monstrous creatures that are neither mutants nor Kaiju.
changed wording to cap at 4 power
I am not against having an off color activation creature cycle (alongside the trap cycle), but I'm not married to it either.
This does not have to be a turtle.
I don't see a reason to limit it to two colors (especially since this effect doesn't fit either). I mean, what's a deck supposed to look like in this format? This might be one idea.
5colors suggests adding flying for enhanced Super Dog reference.
Personally I don't think it's necessary.
Good point, it's probably fine then (I don't know if i prefer it over Surprise Immunity though.
fixed type in name
I feel like this should be black.
For this set unless it really needs or fits with flavor I say no Haste on equipment.
Agree since Prey Upon is one G at Sorcery speed and Pit Fight is 1G/R.
Whats the flavor behind this?
