Well, it's different from a modal spell in that whilst all the targets are chosen and whatever in a modal spell, your opponent are basically completely unsure what you'd choose until they let it resolve.
Also you technically casted 2 spells, and you've casted a spell from exile.
So this is a more complex, and harder to use, version of a modal spell?
I'm unconvinced. It does let you fit on more art ad flavour-text; which is always nice. But I'm not sure it's worth it, in this example.
Very nice flavour though. And a nicely found "Ooops, mistake, but oh, that's still a nice upside" spell, too.
It works like this:
playing UG gives you 1 card playing xUUG gives you 2 cards playing xxUG gives you 3 cards playing xxxU gives you 4 cards playing xxxx gives you 5 cards
