Right now? You get lots of giant octopus spells (in case you want to count them or something) and then all of them that aren't attached to the card go away and only one manages to persist as a creature.
Which is a shame, and should be changed so that you get that many tokens; but never mind.
Thinking of; I guess they could clear up the wording with reminder text along the lines of "Permanent types have an implicit 'summon'. 'Summon' means 'Put this card onto the battlefield.' "
Oh, and what happens if you target a Giant Octopus with this?
If you wanted, you could make this say "The next spell cast this turn has storm". I know that's not the flavor, though...
Ideally it would be "U. Instant. Split second. Storm," but even I agree that's a little useless :)
I did indeed. Now links to Sudden Storm that don't specify cardset will get this one :) (Or, well, they won't because of what Alex said, but.)
This name, should do this, and nothing but this.
And yeah - I changed the reminder text so that it does work :)
Did you base this off my card Sudden Storm?
Heh. If you're talking about what I think you're talking about, it's by card number, not set number.
Also, sadly that wording won't work. It'd be like "Target spell has Buyback
". It's too late for it to happen - that happens at casting time.
You could still say "Copy target spell for each other spell cast this turn", though.
Abusing my sets low number to make an obvious card.
That one and Chaos Moon were too hard, or too clunky to describe in one sentence. The closest I could get was "Black creatures are Bad."
I still like what happens to Wheel of Sun and Moon the most, though. :D
You missed Bad Moon, but nicely done nonetheless :)
Nice card, but it's white in every way.
Referencing Sharash, the Unyielding Also, blue should have a Lignify.
@jmg: Hahaha!
"Remove tide counters from all permanents. If a permanent would get a tide counter, it does not. Return one less card with All Suns' Dawn. If an effect would make non-basic lands become Mountains, they instead do not. If a card would be put into enchanted player's graveyard from anywhere, it is revealed. Pale Moon and Moonlace still suck."
"If a Human Werewolf would transform, instead it doesn't".
This could... actually be kinda interesting; defensively and offensively. Dammit.
I was just playing with the whole "Things get countered more than you think" - jm has the right of it,, though I was thinking more 'unsummon' or 'shuffle back into library' :)
But... but... I turned my creature into a land...
Hm. Maybe "Choose a creature. That creature phases out, then put it into your graveyard. ~ can't be countered," is most complete? That deals with protection, "can't leave the battlefield" effects.
Although even then it can't cope with Heaven's Light or Super Progenitus :)
Or, if you want it to have a use, see Strike from Shadows.
Should say "Put target creature in its owner's graveyard", perhaps.
