Thank you! Perhaps "mind alter ego" or similar would work.
...Is it meant to make it a land as well? I really hope so, because as we've been telling Vitenka over on Bandersnap, gaining land types without being lands doesn't work too well.
Assuming it is, then this is a very cool and interesting spell. Reminiscent of Utopia Vow, actually. Quite punishing removal for a fattie.
Thank you!
I started off knowing commons would mostly be generic sidekicks, as the real heroes would be rare, but in some ways the sidekicks are easier to design. I think this was the first card I designed, moved out of blue (?) :)
Excellent flavour :)
I can see why you'd want a more specific name, but I do like the flavour.
Seems like the right price and rarity. Almost as good as Phantom Warrior.
Attempt to create feel of intricate aerial combat without becoming kitchen sink.
Repeatable token making, but weak tokens.
Combined "make an island" with blue-removal variant. The removal is more white than blue, but is in flavour and not much stronger than curse of chains.
Obviously repeatable "gain control" is insanely strong, but there's a fairly high mana cost. What mana cost is fair? Should I tweak stats up a bit and make it mythic?
Risk of being too fiddly, but shouldn't be too much work to keep cards face-up on library or next to library, and should be fairly obvious which to draw.
Not sure of balance. Powerful because you can cast it and then keep choosing better creatures. Weak because you have to keep paying mana, and if the copied creature is destroyed, you can't copy it any more.
Simplest possible guessing game. Not sure of balance, I think it should be about right, given that they have a high chance of guessing your basic lands, but that you can play round that a little.
Another variant, reminiscent of Heaven's Light in Gentlemen Magicians
