Hard to template. Not sure how to cost it. But really like the "random" flavour.
Was originally an XR spell, but decided it was neater to just make it a fixed cost.
Simple ability not seen before (?).
It shouldn't have any major advantages, I think, other than seeing how opponent blocks.
You can combo it with first strike creatures and (now I think about it) "attacks each turn" creatures if you like.

Too tedious? An "attack every turn" that you can save from attacking into death depending how opp blocks or from removal and has pseudohaste, but doesn't have any intrinsic way of getting damage through.
First of many "xxxx deathray cards".
Not sure about costing: Will be big tempo in the right circumstance, but more restrictive than it might be. Ended up making it "3RR inst" but not sure what's right.
Could almost be any colour. Originally in black. Would make most sense in green (enemy of black discard and blue reveal) or white, but they don't like 3/1 as much. Decided "any colour but black" was right place, and 3/1 sounded red.
Undecided whether if opponent plays a "look at hand and discard" spell they should have a chance to discard this or not.
Removal sloooooow but creepy. How is the cost? Could also be "when this comes into play and at the...". How does it compare to Torture?
Footsteps of the Goryo as instant instead of arcane. Not very different to existing spells, but exact version not printed before (?).
Flavour for being instant and for leaving creature in graveyard afterwards.

What's the green equivalent of 5/5 flying protection from xxxx and yyyy lifelink for 5? It's being 12/12 trample for 5.
However, I'm still groping in the dark looking for mythics.
I'm experimenting with embracing "spider" as the green creature archetype.
Yeah. I'd never heard it named, but I remember the concept, and definitely agree. In fact, I think even 11123 or 11234 is a little suspicious. This was carefully 00112, but 00111 or similar would also be fine.
