Added defender
I'm fine with this being slightly over costed, considering this is a set full of auras, equipment, and other ways of boosting power, a flying lifelink creature is going to be pretty strong.
Basalt Golem, Xathrid Gorgon and every other Gorgon, Forced Worship are all playing in the flavour of turning something to stone. But there's plenty of room for more :)
Indeed, astoundingly amusingly, it let's, say, a Wall of Razors attack - because it no longer has defender :) (It loses first strike too, but there aren't many walls with high power to make the point with.)
Anyhow, assuming "With defender, but no other abilites" it makes a lot of sense.
Oddly, despite it being such a common magical trope; the only instance of turning to stone I can find is Stone-Cold Basilisk. So go for it!
It's Lignify!
...Wait, it makes it a Wall but doesn't give it defender? So if it had +1/+1 counters or equipment then it could still sensibly attack?
This is now Darksteel Pendant. Which is fine.
Daggerdrome Imp is very standard, and has been obsoleted twice already (Mourning Thrull and Vault Skirge), so... this is probably somewhat overcosted, yeah. That said, there aren't many tweaks you can do here - 2/1 would tread all over Dusk Imp. (Though given Vampire Nighthawk maybe that's okay.)
Seems slightly overcosted nowadays, given the phyrexian mana 1/1 exists. Also, Vampire Bats is taken.
