Yeah. IIRC flip was originally based on a mechanic which switched back and forth, and they changed it to just go one way. The big problem being remembering when it's flipped and when it isn't. But designed like werewolf would still be reasonable for that, I do expect ot see them one day.

Given time, I'm sure Wizards will do a lot more with the flip mechanic. The truth is, it has a lot of inherent problems with length of text, and isn't the sort of thing you can just put one or two of in a set. You kind of need a reason to be doing it. Kamigawa had an awesome reason... transformation is a big shtick in Japanese culture, and the ability for normal creatures to transform into legends was a perfect fit.
But, I'm sure they know about it, since flipping back and forth was in both Great Designer Searches. I suppose it's only a matter of time. I do wish they'd hurry it up, though. It sounds like fun.
Thanks guys. I wanted the sample Lycanthropes to realy Pop and the flip format seemed perfect for them. Unflipping flipped cards is a design space that has been overlooked thus far which is a shame as there is a lot you can do with it. Of them all Werelion, Wereraven, Wererat, Wereboar, and this, I think this is my favourite.
Good point. It felt weird to me that it would almost always only have one half played, and competed over only in deck construction, but yeah, there's no reason why not. Come to think of it, it's not much harder to cast than Unmake in a black/white deck, and I loved Unmake.

:) Thank you! I agree with Jack that this is an excellent version of a werewolf, and a jolly interesting Johnny card to boot.
Yeah, this is a great executation of a werewolf.
