  Much less good than Vampire Nighthawk. But that was a very good card. Might still be best to tweak stats slightly to avoid comparison with that though.

  Hmm... actually, now I come to think of it, gargoyles aren't really the flavour for artifact creatures in this set. I'm going to change the flavour.

  There's quite a bit of multi-pump-for-2-mana in the set now: this, Piston-Wing Bat, Pedal-Crank Wings and Rodent-Run Automaton. Guess I should find something else for this to do then.

  Plus the flavour is better here than it was in either of those sets. This set actually has policemen and -women in it.

  Reshuffling red commons freed up this slot. Needed a simple creature, ideally similar size to Skysparker (a three-mana flyer). A mono-red smaller version of Skyknight Legionnaire seemed appropriate.
