The set creator would like to draw your attention to these comments:

On Extract the Skull (reply):

Presumably Myr can still operate juust fine without their skulls. Like it :)

On Ornithopter (reply):

May I just say I enjoy having a card with artist credit "Leonardo da Vinci".

On Copper (reply):

THIS CARD HAS THE BEST NAME EVER

On Skyscrap Hangar (reply):

One possible wording:

> Whenever a nontoken creature with flying you control dies, put a charge counter on Skyscrap Hangar.
{1}, {t}, Remove a charge counter from Skyscrap Hangar: Put a 1/1 Thopter artifact creature token with flying onto the battlefield.

Another possible wording:

> Whenever a nontoken creature with flying you control dies, you may pay {1}. If you do, put a 1/1 Thopter artifact creature token with flying onto the battlefield.

Option 2 is shorter and simpler, but can happen multiple times a turn. It's a bit more of an engine, so I'm somewhat cautious. What do people think?

On Repair Shamble (reply):

I want a name for a certain kind of cobbled-together artifact creature, that I can use as a creature type on several creatures in the block. In Shadowmoor they'd be Scarecrows, but that doesn't fit the theme here. I'd like something like Girl Genius's "Clank". "Shamble" doesn't seem quite right. Anyone got any ideas?

On Striechfiss Armour (reply):

I'd like a good name for the Baron's deathtrap armour that he forces his troops to wear. Any ideas? It could go in flavour texts as well as serve for the name of this card. (This card might end up being deferred to the second set, but I'd still welcome suggestions for the name of the armour.)

Put the top card of target opponent's library into his or her graveyard. Draw cards equal to the converted mana cost of that card.
"I don't know whether that ship's carrying anything of value, but I've got a good feeling about it. Attack!"

Return target artifact card from your graveyard to the battlefield.
"You see? We replace the mountings, give it new connectors and resolder the engine, and it's as good as new!"

On Mustachioed Pilot:

Why so? Flavourwise, in this setting most or all the factions like artifacts, but the pilots particularly so...

Oh, or are you thinking how he loses all his powers in the presence of a razor? :D That is a fun thought.

Welcome to Multiverse, btw!

On Mustachioed Pilot:

Should he have some kind of weakness to Artifacts?

On Murder the Mighty:

It does get around Indestructible, which is nice.

On Murder the Mighty:

I guess this also doesn't affect tokens. Which might occasionally be relevant, though there aren't any big 3/3 or 4/4 tokens to want to kill in this set.

On Tragic Turbulence:

Aww, you can't make out the horrified look on the guy's face at card size.

On Extract the Skull:

Presumably Myr can still operate juust fine without their skulls. Like it :)

On Sunderer of the Air:

Bah. Sigarda, Host of Herons draws the game on her own with this out, even after I switched to the anti-Darksteel Gargoyle wording. She's quite popular in certain circles, so maybe I should turn this into -9/-9.

On Eagle-Eye Watchman:

For what it's worth, Reach has been on 5 mono-white cards... though, those card stretch back from Homelands, Visions, Tempest, and both Portals.

On Eagle-Eye Watchman:

it depends on how you define the pie and how you split it. right now, it seems some colors get a lot more of the pie. anyway, it still seems stale and predictable. just rehash over rehash. red has 1000 burn spells. how many are played in competitive constructed? 10 20? does green need another or 10 mana elves? does white need another unplayable flyer? does anyone really care? yeah yeah limited; just another reason cards are so redundant and unimaginative. esp. NWO saying only simple no-brainer cards at common.

On Eagle-Eye Watchman:

The point of the color pie is so that having different colors has meaning. It's one of the defining features of Magic. How can you call it boring?
