I updated Prepare to Foretell on the mechanics page, which turned this into a better Doomskar. I hit really close with this, though; I planted for prepare to cost and Foretell costs , so the costs were very roughly equivalent.

Yeah, this particular card is awful, TBH, and so is the whole cycle. I'll almost certainly abandon them, but I wanted to put the idea in storage to inspire me in the future.

I get the Anydria concept, but those mana costs... :(

IIRC an open/closed gate has no inherent rules meaning, correct?

Are you overplaying your hand on complexity with combining different hybrid mana symbols in costs, hybrid gold costs, meditate and the untap symbol.

That's just this one card; I imagine in context with other cards this would be mind-boggling.

I've been thinking about how Set 2 would continue themes seen in Set 1 while still introducing new ideas. The monocolor themes in Set 1 will continue as the b archetypes supported by those colors + blue in set two, but what about the color pair themes?

Perhaps they could receive multi-hybrid cards. Admittedly, I'm not really a fan of these (and the design space is so small!), but I might as well get the idea down.

I always get ahead of myself, and I thought of this as a potential rare or mythic cycle for the second set.

I wonder both of this card is too much and if it would be too boring above rare.

The set is very empty right now, so I'm not sure how much scry there will be. I realized as I went to sleep last night that if I include sift, there should be very little, if any.

I'm a bit confused by your comment. Untapping an attacking creature doesn't make it stop attacking.

Edit: I think you were referring to anti synergy with the referenced card.

Huh; surprisingly small amount of comboing with this in set. It gives your own vigilance, I guess? Or; hmm, no, that would remove it from the attack.
