I get the Anydria concept, but those mana costs... :(

IIRC an open/closed gate has no inherent rules meaning, correct?

Are you overplaying your hand on complexity with combining different hybrid mana symbols in costs, hybrid gold costs, meditate and the untap symbol.

That's just this one card; I imagine in context with other cards this would be mind-boggling.

Yeah, this particular card is awful, TBH, and so is the whole cycle. I'll almost certainly abandon them, but I wanted to put the idea in storage to inspire me in the future.
