probably not good in limited, but it could be modern thing MAYBE, because they love cheating emrakul into play, this could be a way to do something like that. Still, it's worse AND better than Through The Breach, which I guess makes it Okay...
I never said it had to be a good card, and destroying creatures is a pretty powerful effect. Still, I get your point. Its sub-par. I think it works, and it could kill more than one creature, right?
When you scale things up you often encounter balance issues. Because that is a ping, while this is much more dangerous.
Also all colors can get 1/1 for 1 with a keyword, even blue, the bad creature color can get 1/1 for 1s with flying. (but they cant get bears at all :P)
It's just a logistics of having three quality creatures in your hand that you haven't played yet. Not to mention this is a 9 mana red spell that makes the board bigger, which is soemthing red can already do without this
That is a neat idea, but I don't see having that kind of effect. Black maybe, or green. Blue even, but not red. This card is a buffed up Through The Breach, and red is the 'Chaos' color, this effect does something like that. It does not need card draw to have 3 big guys. Most likely you dont play this alongside many red cards. As some spells really only work with support (from other colors maybe) - like Ramp, Removal, Spells etc. Awesome ideas though. maybe on another card. :D
Nice. This might be awfully efficient for a common though. I'd suggest removing the Haste, and making toughness 2, otherwise it's too good for red common
but in play this is mechanically sub-par. The only time it's ability would be useful or not detrimental is if you use a sac outlet to kill a creature for a creature, plus paying at least 6 mana
I can't make it a baordwipe ability, that would be at rare, and i am out of rare slots. Flavorfully Activated doesnt fit, it has to BE killed. So i have sac outlets in this set, this guy wants to die. So he works fine in the set. Also Doom Walker means "Somebodies doom" i expanded upon it, flavor dont match card perfectly. But i like it too much to get rid of, and still makes since. Some cards dont match up with flavor text in every way. I think the card is fine. I mean, what you mentioned is really cool, I just see the card being good as-is. It fits into the set very well, and on its own makes sense to some extent.
Wow long winded flavor text, although it's quite fine.
The actual card is subpar design. I'd suggest having it pay tap and sacrifice.
This super targeted ability is really not gonna be as useful to play (and could possibly harm you) if you have to play a kill spell first or you mass wipe it out.
It would be way better as an activated ability imo.
Also the name is neat, but i dont see how it fits with the idea of killing stuff?
If you'd like it to match the flavor text, it could be like this:
, Sacrifice ~: Destroy each creature you don't control
First of all, breaking synergy like that usually costs extra, so i put it up slightly. But also if it were symmetrical, it would be seriously easy to abuse in this set.
Also board wipes are at rare.
If you wanna keep it as a single target spell, you might wanna make it's flavor text something more focused, ie inflicting pain on someone. But it could stay uncommon and be like:
Maybe a the flavor text is kind of lame, sorry to tell you :P
The ability might be better suited for a creature? Giving a player a heart attack seems like a flavorless way to die :P
The card seems strong to me, but i guess technically it's fine. Seems too good for common, but again I guess it's alright...
The low toughness serves little purpose for this card... maybe put it up 1 ? If this were a when dies effect, it would make sense, but this isnt (it still synergizes well tho, with the sac abilty)
This is a cool ability, though alternatively it could say from your library, because red doesnt have a lot of card draw, and also they discard often. So maybe graveyard or library? I really think that would be a cool card
Strictly better Imposing Sovereign :|
What you had may have been okay, I'm just tryna keep it safe
that is fair... I just think haste is important. But I will be flexible and take it off. It needs to be common anyways.

But, I have an Idea, I will do an edit, tell me if you like this more...

Definitely commander-oriented, which can justify it's existence. Just means not as useful in standard play
This is likely not a limited card either, but im not an expert

you are right about that. Maybe this is a Commander card...

see Fanatical Firebrand, yes its much smaller, but same effect with haste.

Whisper, Blood Liturgist can do this more efficiently, repeatedly for less mana
You could have an arguement about it flavorfully
but in play this is mechanically sub-par. The only time it's ability would be useful or not detrimental is if you use a sac outlet to kill a creature for a creature, plus paying at least 6 mana
i will change it to creature-only. I will up toughness too.
