Hidden upside, since most of the Auras in this set are removal and there isn't that much equipment in this set.
Not sure if its too strong or too weak. Feels just about right.
Reference is from Journey to the West.
When you think about it, Supernatural is really a lot like Journey to the West, except with Americans instead of mythological buddhist figures.
This is kind of a bleed from black, but I figure the combat clause will help it fit better in Green. Helps deter chump blocking, too.
This is a story-related card that is what forms the basis for the story of this set - not-Sun Wukong embarks on a pilgrimage to become the monkey king by being the best at slaying demons.
Added Vigilance to the soup
Requirements for design: -Should grant a gazillion abilities, including flying and some combat-related abilities to represent the flying cloud and weapons. Creature type/size change optional. -Should be an equipment for story reasons -Should boost Power/Toughness somehow
It probably makes better gameplay for this to be a regular artifact instead of an equipment, but I'm encouraging players to stack a single creature with these {+} abilities rather than hand them out like candy. The +1/+1 clause is an added bonus. Artifact costs and equip costs are still up to testing, but it seems about right for an equipment that you have to invest more mana into.
Name comes from Tai Chi.
This is meant to be an overly expensive bounce spell, due to the existence of Bequeath. Most of blue's "temporary" removal will come in the form of Frost breath and tap variants rather than bounce variants, but this will get cheaper if Blue sucks too much.
1UU -> 3UU; noncreature -> any spell
