2BB/4BB Reflex > 1BB/3BB Reflex to differentiate it from (((Emperor's Judgement))).
Cost / > / . Added "Its controller can't gain life this turn." Weakening unconditional removal at common but adding trinket text that might come up in games. Might be more suitable in , but I feel like the ability is enough.
While in actuality the difference between five and six mana is a lot, IMO it looks quite weird to have these mana costs be so close to each other.
Also, it would feel better if the "can't gain life" would be attached to being cast with reflex. Wording it here would be troublesome... with kicker or such, you could say "If ~ was kicked, ..." Maybe there would be a fitting name for this mechanic that would alloy such language? I mean, 'reflex' is pretty bland as far as names go... though the mechanic is pretty bland as well so maybe they go hand-in-hand.
Well, it'd be "If ~ was cast for it's reflex cost". Other names include react or response... but as you said, it's pretty bland in general. I wanted something a little more expensive, but obviously I don't feel like tacking onto each reflex cost, so the reflex cost remains at . Your suggestion is probably a better direction to go if I were to change it to /, though it wanders a bit too similar to Emperor's Judgment again... I think I'll keep it as is for now, but I'll see if I can find a better word to replace Reflex.
