"cards" -> "tokens"
Tokens aren't cards, and only tokens are created
Quick note - tokens aren't cards. They're objects. Why not just say tokens? Not much is created that isn't a token nowadays.
"Age of Promise" -> "Second Spring"
Derived from Dudibus’s card design "Garden of Promises"

be a better reminder text?
removed the enchantment type - it doesn't feel particularly necessary here
Enchantment obviously makes sense with cards like Lady of the Sea, but at some point I decided that it also reflects flavor as well. Those Maiar are enchantments in addition to their types who are still able to change their form and haven't become 'tained' and locked into their physical manifestations. 'Walkers are an exception to this though. Lifeless Recreant also isn't an enchantment since it's actually more of a ghost rather than a Maiar spirit. This particular card is kind on the edge whether it 'should' be an enchantment or not. Mechanically I try to keep it so that enchantment creatures have at least some static/global effect that would make sense on an noncreature enchantment. Sublime Vessel kinda fails in that and this to a lesser extent as well.
Design wise there are two things that are somewhat bothersome in this card.
I don't think reminder text is necessary. I could also go with some variation of "If this would deal combat damage to a player, instead that player's life total becomes 1" but that has its own issues.
I've never been a fan of creatures giving abilities to creatures on a non-activatable-basis, but that's just me. This is a cool ability with cool art. I'm not sure I like it as an enchantment creature because you have so many cross-seeded cards that it may make the two archetypes ( Rebels and half-chant) blend a bit too much together.
I was going to leave a comment about Phage-touch, but then I realized that it triggers after damage. Might want reminder text to that effect. (Still nasty with double strike, but that brings it into Johnny territory)
UEOT
Shortened the flavor text.
An alternative design for the slot / character. Old version is Ungoliant, Spider of Night.

derp, "permanents"
I've been posting this around and now found out that

I'm currently thinking that the correct call is have this be worded as it is now, but modify the rules themselves so that they prevent game locks with it and Assault Suite by default.
Of yeah, and concerning color pie, "preserving life" fits perfectly well into - it's just that "telling others what to do" ala rules setting is more of a thing. has dappled into that with cards like Dosan the Falling Leaf (funnily enough, Lunar Lunacy is here). It seems dandy like if you look at it through cards such as the aforementioned Tajuru Preserver and Gaea's Herald.
Additional line to flavor text. "can't... to activate" and "can't cause" to "can't be"
It's similar to Tajuru Preserver, so I assume this sort of ability is green enough.
It's likely a slight bend.
EDIT: Now posted on reddit.
