The difference between "~ gets +1/+1" and "target creature gets +1/+1" is a pretty big shift from the Zephyrnaut in the direction of the Page, too.
Also, used to say 'or blocks', but removed that to make this more NWO.
Random generator gave me Angelic Page and Kithkin Zephyrnaut. I'm filling in artifact slots, so I added 'make it an artifact'.
Tricky one. Things get kind of hard when the two creatures sit so close together, mechanically, and get worse when the 'color' needs to shift, since the biggest difference becomes the color shift, not the space between the two cards. I'm pretty sure Zephyrnaut comes across here... the page, however, is tied in the attacking restriction and flavor text, which might not sell as well.
Actually, minor change. Was +2/+2 for 4, but I'm dropping to +1/+1 for 3 to get more of the page in there. Helps mitigate the 'drawback' while we're at it.
Thank you Vitenka. That will do.
Almost has the unintentional throwback to Telim'Tor's Edict too.
(It's all fun and games once someone loses an eye)
Random generator gave me Telim'Tor's Darts and Attrition. I kind of wanted to turn this into a reverse Claws of Gix, dealing damage instead of gaining life, but that's an uncommon, not a common.
Also, I got to add flavor text, but couldn't come up with any tonight, so I let it sit for now. Had to stay my hand on the name, too. Original name: Lawn Darts by Tellem' Tor!™
Oh, that's a lovely mashup of Panic Attack and banding. Very nicely done.
Second stab at Mesa Pegasus combined with Panic Attack. I'm pretty sure this card qualifies as a common. ;)
It's kind of a nice little ability. A little odd on such a small creature, but I'm okay with that. I suppose I could just make this bigger if I wanted. 'Horse Scarecrows' don't exactly have a precedence.
