For Challenge # 163.
In case it's not immediately apparent, you're playing 'Blackjack' with Knave Noir. As long as you don't draw cards equaling more than 21, you're fine. Go over, and you lose everything.
Because getting to 21 can take time, I made this a loot effect instead of a straight draw, thus allowing me to double the amount of cards tracked. Two cards counted up at a time kind of feels more like blackjack, so that's a bonus. It's also nice that there's more control involved instead of blind luck... but lucks is still a clear factor here.
Just be careful discarding your expensive spells early to the knave. Ditch a couple sixes and twenty-one might come faster than you expect.
Oh, nice use of 21!
I was expected a big bonus for getting to 21, does it need a benefit in addition to looting?
