Forest + Human Disarmer
Um. So has first strike against morphs casting cost. Because, uh; wow that's a strange mechanic. Does lots of odd stuff in a very small space.
And then turn it green. Because why not.
So something with morphs, disarming, cost, first strike...
I want to say 'ambush'. Ambush seems not to really have mechanical identity. Cards with it tend to have first strike, flash, haste - anything with 'goes fast' in it.
And all morphs are either an ambush or an attempt to sneak past, or a bluff.
So sure. Creatures can be ambush predators; that's a thing; so it can be a mechanic that green has (maybe shared with other colours,
most likely).
I think the obvious thing to do is "when this is revealed, UEOT". That captures a LOT of space though.
So maybe we stick with something to do with CMC?
Eh; this isn't a very exciting version of such a critter.
Without even going to the mechanics, why would you ever want to cast this as a 1/1 vanilla for
? Why doesn't it cost
when cast that way? 1/1s for
are hardly playable nowadays anyway.
As a
Spider, I would expect it to have more toughness than power and also to have reach. That's rather inconsistent.
I wanted to do this as the simplest expression of the mechanic.
I agree, you'll basically never flat-cast it. You cast it as a 2/2 morph, flip it to make it a 3/3 UEOT then it drops back to being a 1/1.
