Tracking issues; but an interesting idea for a card.
Probably would get implemented as "Sacrifice: Each player draws a card" though. Even if that's less interesting.
I don't want to mention clue tokens, because I like the cut of this card's jib. But... you know... it could have given each player a clue token.
I will say that this card is making me wonder how many more 'clue token' and 'treasure token's Wizards will end up making in the next 10 years. Some abilities aren't NWO (Sacrifice,
: Target creature gets +1/+1.) But outside of that, I don't see why other small abilities couldn't get it.
For example, you would think life gain would be a bad choice, since there's no specific reason why you would want to hold off the gain life. But there's no specific reason why you wouldn't want to draw the card immediately either. I figure an Instant that costs
and puts 4 artifacts on the table that gains you 2 life when you sac and pay
is interesting for its own reasons.
Sorry, I rambled away from this card. I wonder if putting a counter or removing a counter from this card when a person activated it would help? It may not solve every problem, but it would tell players how often the card has been used, which should help when deducing who used it in this game. Maybe?
What's the point of this card? I get the sense it might be trying to achieve something relative simple with too complex of a solution.
For example, I could see modifying it into a rhystic variant of
> When ~ ETBs, for each player, that player may pay
. If they do, they draw a card.
