That's very large. This isn't a removal spell, it upgrades your own creature, and I'm not sure how blue that feels.

Ah, yes. You're right. I had forgotten that the Illusion token doesn't have the ephemerality clause by default.

Should the ability be on the token itself, i.e. "create an illusion token with 'illusion ability'."? Also, looks like autocorrect had a little fun.

I've thought about it. I'm not sure yet.

This is one of my odd experiment sets: all of the creatures at common and uncommon are tokens, and there are only a few tokens per color. I wasn't sure whether to constrain all of the Illusion tokens to that ability or not.
