Uh. No. Try again. Sign in Blood

White 3/3 vigilant flier for 5. Black pay 2 life for 2 cards. Wow, that's a bargain. Well, moderately; I guess it's only a net 1 card.

So a blood angel? That's a rather horrific form of execution, involving a splayed rib-cage. Oh; no; I'm thinking of blood eagle. Angel is the space marine.

Maybe sacrifice fliers for life or for cards?

Alternately; we know what a demonic pact is like in mtg; what's an angelic one like?

Humm. Well, there's the opposites theme. So sacrificing cards in exchange for life and maybe mana? Unlikely to ever be a useful bargain, though.

I could just do gain life and cards. It'd have to be expensive, but might be a decent counterpoint.

No bargaining there though. Mythologically, you don't bargain with angels. Even questioning them tends to end in object "Turned to salt / Eaten by a whale" type lessons.

Maybe exchange peace for cards+life? That seems to work.

And due to the ease of removing your own stuff; probably needs to be reallly expensive.

Aw man, I really want to give this "Protection from you and yours" But we're getting wordy.

Vigilance, when you cannot declare an attack, is pure trinket text of course. Flying may matter on block.

Blegh; not my best mash by a long way.
