It's funny, this is very close to "{2/u}{b} destroy target creature" but I agree this phrasing feels a lot more natural in many ways.

(It's not the same because this requires an actual island, but {2/u} requires you to spend blue mana.)

The costing probably needs to be changed since without an island it's still strictly better than Murder, but it's still a cute and flavorful.

­{3}{b} and reduce by {2} solves Sorrow's problem, and it's still a strong spell. Technically better than Chill to the Bone... but that seems spurious.
