The name sounds legendary, but I think the ability is too narrow to be legendary. I really just liked how the name sounded.
This seems narrow indeed. What inspired it?
The name popped into my head. Boats seemed blue, and since we haven't had colored vehicles I figured the best way to represent that would be a blue crew.
"Whenever a Vehicle dealt damage by ~ this turn dies, its controller sacrifices a creature that crewed that Vehicle this turn."?
Either way the ability doesn't exactly seem white.
The name is evocative though.
Destroying a tapped creature is secondary in white, so the card can exist as a hybrid. Deadeye Harpooner and Sheer Drop are in standard right now.
