Could we shorten this by having cards drawn before the search (not to mention some good ol' singular they, of which I'm a proponent)?

"Target opponent reveals their hand and exiles all nonland cards in it, then draws a card for each card exiled this way. Search that player's graveyard and library for all cards with the same name as a card exiled this way and exile them, then they shuffle their library."

I think if you are going through the trouble of searching the deck to remove all copies, it is important that they don't draw the card right before the search.

Is the main purpose of this card to make your opponent mana flooded? Is that fun?

"it is important that they don't draw the card right before the search."

Just search their hand too?

Nooooooooooooo.

This card looks miserable. This kills any form of nonland combo deck. It also has a very good chance of killing control too, even with hand replacement, even with multiple in set wrath effects.

Unless I'm interpreting the card wrong and you only Memoricide one of the cards. Even then this card just kills fun.

It kinda risks mana flood; but eh, turning 1 or 2 cards to land is less bad than just discarding 1 or 2, and black can certainly do that.

It's a really really effective jesters cap kind of thing. Probably a bit too effective for the cost - but yeah; nuking a combo down to bedrock is plainly the point of it.

The real problem comes if you cast another one the turn after - that really does turn an opponents deck into slag.

Upcost it a bit and I have no real objections to the basic point though. It's strong, and exciting. But it does need some in-built way to stop you casting it repeatedly, and leaving opponents with a land-only deck. After all, constructed decks often only have eight differently named non-land cards in them.

Y'know, I didn't realize at first, but indeed this needs to be upped in cost somewhat. It is literally Reap Intellect (oh, hey, look, a template to copy!) with the X-cost replaced by a reloading of the hand.

I suspect this card slot just needs a total redesign
