This idea is sort of inspired by Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx, using Discovery instead of devotion and having to be saced. Though, the mana of a particular color thing fits devotion better than Discovery, so I might consider the sac ability to add either
or mana of any color instead.
Initially I had been tempted to make a land version of this but there's no room for it, except for the Mythic land slot, which I don't feel this is right for. On another note, this sort of stands in for Sun Worshiper's ability.
Changed to add colorless instead.
Lowered cost to 2 because 3 didn't feel right.
Decided to make it a common as a standin for Sun Worshiper.
Corrected wording- sacrifice should have been capitalised
Added to skeleton. This card, alongside Card73874, effectively replaces Sun Worshiper.
Placed in competing spot on the skeleton
This and Deserted Manalith both are mana rocks and we should have another artifact creature at common, so we should pick one.
I'd keep this, as it uses Discovery nicely I feel.
Now I looked and it was already taken out of the skeleton? I totally don't like Deserted Manalith over this card. I'd note that this is another move on the skeleton that was made without anyone else commenting/voting.
This is in the skeleton, it in a completing slot. I had to take out one of the mana rocks because it doesnt make sense to have both at common and the space should have been for a creature. It doesnt make a huge deal which is in which slot because that tends to get resolved by people quickly.
Yea I see that now. This one did decently when I entered it in the DCC the other day, and I'm more fond of it.
Added to skeleton as main choice
