Pre-playtest question: Is the tension of a cheap creature vs. ramp + combat trick weird? Would the whole cycle be better if it had a high cmc like Gleam of Resistance and co.?

Nah, not really, it feels pretty much like Bloodrush, just a bit better because of the versatility.

I dont think thats too big of a problem, as they dont just search for lands they give an bonus to a creature too. If they just had basic landcyling then I would defiantly agree.
