I'd feel better changing the P/T to 2/2 on this. It feels right with the rest of the numbers (2 life, 2B costs, etc.) and it kind of has a bit of a wild P/T.

Why does this card have the same cycling cost as its casting cost? Id rather change its p/t to 1/1 to try and balance it, or just change one of the costs, as Legend pointed out there is no real incentive to cycle this atm.

Yea, the cycling cost being equal, given that it does the same thing on ETB, is weird. It should be lower than the casting cost. {2} or {1}{b}. Or even just {b}.

Dont think it should cost {b}, that makes it really strong. Maybe {b}{b} so its like Night's Whisper? Then I still see it being worth more to wait a turn and play it, so I'd reduce its p/t. Could also trigger when it dies or is cycled. Similar to Hive Mercenary except it has to be cast first. Might be too close though.

Why have this in a set with Vampiric Bargain? Choose one and kill the other (maybe for another removal spell? ;) )

EDIT: Just noticed that this is my chance to suggest turning this into the black member of club "(french) vanilla that cycles for a single colored mana".

Think we should do what you said and change it into the black single cycling card
