Tachyon Overload deals 5 damage to target player. That player takes an extra turn after this one.
This may be too clever, in allowing it either as an extra-turn spell with a life cost, or a finishing spell. But it started as an "all-in" burn spell, and then I thought "why not let it hit yourself?"
I almost wanted to add "Replicate 4R" for the style value, but I didn't think that would actually add to the card.
Yeah, I really wanted to capture the flavour of the spell I imagined, which was red (and did damage with an extra turn as side effect), but I think maybe it is better suited to a UB spell (with an extra turn, and life loss as additional cost or side effect).
See Challenge # 150.

Interestingly, this feels like a
spell to me. Or it would, if it caused life loss instead of damage.

This would also be fine with the current text as a
spell.
