Trying a new approach to the off-color cycle - big abilities that make you look forward to them, which helps with the themes of progress, and act as a solid mana sink. Skulk is negotiable.

controller not owner

Could this be a 1 mana 1/1 if we removed Skulk?

It could be a 2/1 with it at the current cost; skulk is less valuable at those stats. Bit more aggressive, which is nice

1/1 -> 2/1, but lost skulk.

Doesn't->Don't, Controller's->Controllers'

Didn't play, but was one of the strongest factors for considering going into black, even in a hypothetical GWB deck.
