That's a boringly specific emblem. Not only does it not help you win the game, it doesn't even do anything against most nonblue decks.

It is an ultimate that requires no set up on a permanent that costs 4. But, yeah, Wizards has trained me to think of Ultimates as big-bada-booms, too.

Hey, Link, the +1 can pin a land. Was that intentional? I could see it either way... I just wanted to make sure you saw it as well.

His first ability is meant to be similar to that of Tamiyo, the Moon Sage.
As Jace is often a mill planeswalker, I thought of the emblem as something for a Johnny Howling Mine mill deck. Overall he's meant to work in some sort of fog mill deck.
