I envisioned satellites costing {2} to orbit. That being said, they should offer more value than this. There is also no limit to the number of satellites that can orbit a non-satellite land or star. I'm not sure how I stumbled into Space: the Convergence ideas over here.

if orbiting costs {2} I made this more worth it?

Hmm, this makes land destruction more interesting? If we include stars I guess stars would be included with land like "destroy target star or target land." But satellites wouldn't be destroyed and could orbit a new body. It probably doesn't mean much in the end, though I think satellites would add some fun complexity.

if "orbit costs {2}", let's make the card say so

You may have said you envisioned it, but it wasn't clear in the text of the cards, which is very important.
Flavorfully I like the idea of lands orbiting stars, but I'm not 100% on the implementation here. It seems odd to me that you can change the orbit at any time. I think it would be more sensible for orbit to occur on entering the battlefield.

Upon any body entering the battlefield? I'm not wholly keen on that as one of the ideas was that if the body something was orbiting (object of orbit?) is destroyed that something else would pick it up into its gravitation, that something not necessarily being something new. Lands without the satellite subtype should probably be renamed as planets? I'm questioning this as planets need not necessarily orbit to work, unlike satellites. Anyway, I think a good balance might be that a player may pay {2} to have an body he or she controls orbit whenever it is not attached to something. I think that would be a happy medium.

Maybe make it like Soulbond? "You may pair this with an unpaired non-Satellite land or star whenever either enters the battlefield or becomes unpaired."
