Veteran Cavalier + Dothraki Raid
A vigilant white knight, and a
token maker. With haste and... horsemanship. Which is... uh, oh right, it's sideways flying. I was thinking flanking for some reason.
So knight tokens. Well, that brings up a whole different image - the token a lady would give her champion at a joust in, at least, Arthurian chivalric tradition (which probably never actually existed outside of romantic re-enactment, but never mind.)
The idea being: You'll (win the tournament/survive) to bring the trinket back to the lady. And a public display of competing on someone elses behalf.
I guess we can represent 'will to live' as regenerate; and probably lifegain for the bringing back and 'favour' part?
Stupid top down design making clumsy seeming cards. This needs squishing and simplifying smoehow.
Hm. 2 life doesn't seem like very much, and the flavour connection to a favour doesn't leap out of the card. And if you want to make it shorter as well, how about instead giving the equipped creature lifelink?
Still doesn't feel right - and I didn't want a big effect.
Maybe just the regeneration? Simpler is better.
