Why are there not more cards like Paradox Haze? OK, don't answer that :) But it seems a shame there aren't, even if they're hard to make playable but also interesting.
This is incredibly playable if you cast it during combat and your creatures have vigilance.
Play this during the beginning phase and it's much better than Frantic Search. Draw two cards, don't discard anything, and untap all your stuff...twice.
I like this idea a lot but I feel that for some reason blue on its own won't allow for extra combat phases though.
Link's comment reminds me of my old R/W deck built around creatures with vigilance, Seize the Day, and Radiate :)
This is more blue than anything else. It is odd to use it during combat, but the flexibility (and time-related-ness) means it still feels blue. I can see a traditional U-W control deck liking this, as a Inspiration during your draw step (that's free as SM points out), or a way to close the game once you've got a Serra Angel out.
You could cast as many of these as you had in hand during your beginning phase, and who knows what kind of crazy combos you could pull off with that.
Alex, that sounds incredibly fun.
