Created for Challenge # 115. I wanted to encourage circumstances where you might name cards in the opponent's deck and might name cards in your deck. This isn't quite that, though, because you know what cards are in your hand. Perhaps I could let this one come with an ETB trigger to let you look at the opponent's hand? Not very black though :/

Well, you're already bleeding the Sphinx creature type to black. And black does get to look at hands, it's just normally accompanied by discard.
I love the idea of a "name a card" cycle, but I can't help but feel that this one will seem weaker to players than the white one.

This is much more Johnnifiable. Mystic Speculation, Crown of Flames, Haru-Onna, etc etc, and this goes crazy.

But yes, adding a peek at the hand would probably be okay.

You're right, of course. This is a combo piece, where as the white one isn't.
