Created for Challenge # 115.
I decided I wanted my Sphinx cycle to all start with naming a card. They all need strong colour cues in order to feel correct in their nonblue colour even though they're sphinxes. What's a white thing to do with naming a card? Nevermore. Is this Sphinxy? I think I'd argue yes: how do you choose what to name? You have to have some kind of insight, foresight or knowledge of what your opponent's playing.
Oh yes, I like "name a card" cycle a lot. (And I agree with your comments on the other two, that I like trying to preserve "name a card in either deck", but it may be too much to achieve.)
I love this ability, but this guy is a bit outshined by Voidstone Gargoyle, isn't it?
Edit: I guess this is better in a couple of ways.
