See Challenge # 113. I'm not sure whether this sits better at uncommon or rare. The versatility makes me think it should be rare, but the simplicity of the effects makes me lean toward uncommon.

Interesting take on Strive technology.

I note that this is strictly better than Dismiss, because it can be Dismiss or many other things. Not sure if that's a problem. I'd certainly play it.

I suspect that, as a tweak on Cryptic Command that's quite likely to see tournament play, this would indeed be rare.

It's better than Counterspell itself, too.

Having the first two modes separated isn't likely to matter, since about the only time an opponent will control both a creature spell and a noncreature spell at the same time is if they're playing the Bloodbraid Elf Lottery.

Clearly I wasn't thinking when I made something better than Counterspell.

Ha, yes, a card that obsoletes both Counterspell and Dismiss in one shot is likely a leetle bit too good!
