I was brainstorming ways to capture one of the other aspects of Rohn, the imposition of current artistic trends from above.
I like a lot the way this gives a semi-arbitrary bonus, but one you have some control over. Although it's a shame if it wants you to discard nearly-on-curve cards, maybe it should be just be "top card"? I feel it doesn't quite fit the flavour though, in that it's rewarding people who fit the decree, but not disadvantaging those who don't. Maybe it should be +1/+1 and hit opponent creatures as well?
