See Challenge # 108.
I thought if "flying" is "orbital" there should be an intermediate tier of flying for atmospheric ships, dubbed "hover".
Is there a translation of "draw a card, discard a card"? I guessed something, but I'm not sure if it works...
So Orbital is super-flying, but it's the more common of the two? That makes sense to me. It's a good idea for Magic in general, but they probably haven't used it because it sounds like a drawback, if it wasn't grandfathered in with the original product.
By the way, I rather like "Research a card, then obsolete a card". Gives the impression these guys are learning new things left and right.
change "flying or orbital" to "hover or orbital"
Thank you.
Oops! The reminder text was screwed up, I don't know if that mattered.
I assumed Space: The Convergence would have similar numbers of hover and orbital, even if the preview article only showed orbital, but maybe that wouldn't need to be the case. You could either say orbital is flying and hover is half-flying or hover is flying and orbital is flying-plus, either would work, though orbital=hover is what the original article proposed.
I felt horsemanship creatures should be blockable by fliers, partly from common sense and partly from balance, but that never happened :)
