Circle of Protection: Red + Seeker of New Lands

One of the classic colour hosers, from the days when a) you could do that and b) white actually got good strong protections (and c) cards were either terrible or burrroken. This isn't the latter.)

And combine with... a bird scout lord. Birds are hexproof, scouts loot.

Circle of protection: Bird ?

Actually, hmm. We've had circles (and new better circles) for most stuff, artifacts, wild-card colour... but has there been a tribal one? I can't see one; that seems a thing we could do.

Sure, CPROT: Tribal. Doing that.

I think we'll make it a lord, rather than an enchantment. Take a bit more from the birdy. It's lost the looting, after all.

Hmm, should this be "Or creatures you control" too? that's a LOT more exciting... but maybe a little hard to remove.

Cost.. three feels good. {1}{w} would be more of a mimic of the circle; but a bit too good I think. Three feels more right... Ah whet the heck. I'll push; and compromise on not "and creatures you control" instead. It's not like preventing damabe a turn earlier is going to make a vast difference to anything except pure aggro, which will likely overwhelm your mana base anyway if you try to rely on this.

Rarity. I want to say uncommon - but it's a lord, and it does shut-down a bit too much. Rare. Could be uncommon in the right set, but rare. So make it a legend and give it a silly name as a callback and done.

You know, I think you're right. There hasn't been a Cprot: Tribal before. Good spot.
