: Add one mana of any colour to your mana pool. Spend this mana only to cast creature spells.
I'm not quite sure where to balance this. It could be three colours. It might have to cost 2, although it would be nice to keep it costing 1 CMC if possible.
I'm surprised there aren't more cards like this already. It seems natural to have mana restrictions on creatures not lands, where there's less problem of shuffling it together with your other lands and forgetting, or the opponent not seeing what you played.
