A good example of mana-with-bonus is giving some bonus to a spell you spend it on. But I struggled to find an example which felt to me more like "special mana" rather than "makes mana, and separate ability to tack an extra onto a spell". I'm not sure how well this works, I hoped it would feel more like enhancing a spell than adding something unrelated.
