My mad idea to combine a shade with a specter. Discuss.
I'm wondering if I should make it a 0/1. Does that seem underpowered? Also, let me know what you think of the mana cost, and the "pump" cost. I don't really plan to platters this, so any input on the numbers would be welcome.
This is pretty strong, to be honest. Not against most decks, admittedly. But any card that can drop a control deck for two cards every turn, starting turn four is worth a second look. Pity that a single Unsummon can take a lot of the gas out of this card... you almost want to give it shroud, or protection from instants or something...
Increased the mana cost and the cost of the pumping ability. I might want to undo one of those changes later, though.

Mighty; but costly enough that it's dealable with. Nice rare.
Reduced mana cost and lowered base toughness, but kept the pump cost high.
I wanted to keep the cost high and lower the pump cost, but I decided this was better. I also lowered the toughness to make removal a bit easier. This way, the caster can start forcing discards on turn 4, but has to wait until turn 6 before doing two at a time.
