Stonehands + Sentimental Value

A Firebreathing variant? More properly a Holy Armor colourshift, I guess. Mr swirly-man artwork, too.

And, massively overcosted. How the heck did that make it into masters edition?

And an artifact Bathe in Light, that's slightly cheaper than I'd expect.

So; I'm making something that gives some kind of protective effect, and some extra upside.

Howsabout a one-shot Blessing with the prot-colour effect? Probably ought to cost 2.

Can it be common? It can if it lacks flash. Which makes it a surprisingly aggressively little card - almost dual-mode rather than being a white counterspell the way, say, Akroma's Blessing is.

The Master's Editions are basically Wizards trying to get all the not-completely-broken old cards into MTGO, so all the horribly-bad old cards will likely make it into one Master's Edition or another eventually.

I think this could be common even if it did have flash, but it might need to cost a little more (cf Cho-Manno's Blessing, Triclopean Sight, Indomitable Will). But yes, this is an interesting card as it is.

FWIW, the last sentence needs to be rules text, not reminder text, because it would remove this if they chose white unless it has extra text specifying that doesn't happen.

You're right. But I choose to mess with alpha white ward. And I should have named this card "Blessed Ward"; ah well.

Hey, I got the aura crap right; that's like professional levels of templating for me :)
