Oros, the Avenger, because six cost makes for an entirely re-playable general. Mind you, it's pretty damn mighty; bolting everything when it strikes home. (I had a game on the VIC20, ringwraith I think, where one of the on-hit messages was 'It strikes home' - I explored for AGES trying to find my home.)
Aaanyway. Combine with Curious Thorn-Claw - a dinosaur that expodes in the face of artifacts!

So; I'm making some kind of lizard. Definitely red; possibly white; and why is Oros black (other than to make your EDH deck more flexibly coloured)?

So, blow up all artifacts when it hits? Let's try that. CMC4 as a sorcery; as a dragon? Let's try 5 for a 4/4 flyer.

Rare sounding to me; possibly mythic but not really good enough. Potentially splashy enough, in some sets, though.

Oros was one of a cycle of enemy-triple-colour legendary dragons in Planar Chaos, which cycle was in turn an alternate-reality riff on the cycle of ally-triple-colour legendary dragons in Invasion like Rith, the Awakener. The mana-trigged ability in all cases only really cares about the main colour; the other colours just allow it to be a 6/6 dragon for 6 mana. (Numot, the Devastator blows up lands, which blue definitely doesn't do; Treva, the Renewer gains life, which blue also doesn't do, and so on.)

This is indeed a delightful rare that's probably not splashy enough to be a mythic.
