The first and third lines really seem to cancel one another out. I guess it matters for swamp-walk, Nightmare, Karma and a few other things?

It's pretty much a colourshift of Celestial Dawn (applied to everyone). It matters for a handful of odd things in various places.

Pretty cool. Change those line breaks, though, that's ugly and hard to read.

there should be line breaks. but it's up to the CSS to not make them so wide apart.

You can achieve a line break with a single tap of your Enter key. You know, the \r\n sequence. You don't need two of them. My policy has always been that you should only ever use single line breaks on Multiverse.

Annoyingly, it's extremely difficult to style <br> tags with CSS... Oho! It seems that in the past couple of years, browsers have found a way they can agree on to style <br>s. Excellent, that'll be going into the next Multiverse update then.

Your claim of a single enter key being a line break is extremely inconsistenty because your text boxes here in the comments style it as a single space.

Regarding the card itself. It's a black "All mana is rainbow" except mana from artifacts etc. is colourless. I guess it works? Not really exciting enough to be mythic.

Which might be a subtle comment on the cardset whose name it yoinks?

at least on the cards, a line break means a separate paragraph. so you don't need to deal with br. you just have to set the margins between Ps and we don't have to deal with extra blank lines that set the paragraphs so far apart. ultimately, i'd rather have blank lines than have two paragraphs stick to each other.

on the comments, as Vitenka brought up, it is hard to format the line breaks. i always forget to double-space after a line. may i suggest using white-space: pre-wrap. in fact, that should be the default behavior for all text elements.

as for the card, i wanted to invoke the flavor of darkness encompassing everything. celestial dawn was the closest thing and it does feel mythic to me.

I agree the line-break behaviour in comments is pretty annoying. As with most of the most persistent annoyances in Multiverse, it's caused by a third-party library I'm using, in this case RDiscount for parsing Markdown. RDiscount doesn't seem to have configuration options for any of the tweaks to its parsing I'd like to make, so it looks like to fix it I'd need to write my own. Which might not be too hard? But requires some time to work on Multiverse, a fairly scarce commodity these days...

Add your comments:

(formatting help)
Enter mana symbols like this: {2}{U}{U/R}{PR}, {T} becomes {2}{u}{u/r}{pr}, {t}
You can use Markdown such as _italic_, **bold**, ## headings ##
Link to [[[Official Magic card]]] or (((Card in Multiverse)))
Include [[image of official card]] or ((image or mockup of card in Multiverse))
Make hyperlinks like this: [text to show](destination url)
